31 December 2003-- Within the last few weeks, network analysts have viewed more postings calling for massive attacks, multiple thousands of deaths from such attacks and destruction that will eclipse that of 9/11 than at any other time since the inception of our efforts. With a limited staff of volunteers, we have been literally overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and the work involved in assessing the credibility of each threat. It is important for our site visitors to understand we go to the greatest lengths possible to provide timely AND accurate information to the best of our abilities. As such, recent updates have been erratic at best as the amount of data has strained the abilities of our staff. The following update has been derived from a number of sources, thoroughly analyzed and is being presented for your review:

1. New York City: NUMEROUS THREATS: In nearly every communication we have viewed, New York City has been the primary focus of terrorist threats. Times Square on New Year's Eve has been termed an "enviable target" based on the number of people gathered in one location, although direct references to the celebration are muddied at best. Threats of attacks from a more distant location (such as from the water) have been prevalent. Dispersal of chemical agents (specifically VX gas) within the crowds have been identified, and the dispersal of anthrax in particular has been mentioned. Is should be inherently obvious to anyone that views the following images that the Department of Homeland Defense has taken these threats seriously by the scale of unprecedented security presence in Times Square and at all bridges, tunnels and other points of entry into the city. The Arabic text is referenced as it has widely been associated with the general threat to New York, possibly coinciding with the Times Square celebration. The veracity of the threat by our analysts has not been adequately determined, although it has been dismissed by other research sites, possibly prematurely. Accordingly, we are presenting this information for its raw intelligence value under the images.
