Could be, but you have to admit that it is a coincidence that they stepped up security checks on ambulances and other emergency vehicles in NJ within 24-48 hours of that ambulance theft report.
Could be because of that theft but maybe not.
My first thought when I heard about this was that I hope MANY other cities are doing the same thing. There have been all kinds of emergency vehicles stolen across the country for well over a year now....ambulances, fire trucks, police cars....AND uniforms.
That goes along with the authorities checking ID's and drivers' documentation.
