No, it is just a listing of the route taken to reach a destination IP address on the Internet. IP addresses can be spoofed and/or partially hidden by sophisticated users, but I believe there are telltale signs when this is done. I am just a novice at this sort of thing. The Visual Trace Route program costs $50 which is a bit steep IMHO, but I like the map it presents and it is more persistent at tunneling through long timeouts that defeat some of the free Web-based tracers. Looks like the ISP in the UAE was telling VTR to buzz off.
