In Hinduism, swastika is the sign of good-luck and is widely used in Hindu ceremonials and as a decorative motif.

So, that Iranian Military presentation is symbolizing launching missiles on Israel, USA and INDIA!

So it is a Hindu symbol? I knew the Nazis "borrowed" from something but couldn't remember for the life of me. The original symbol had the "arms" in one direction and the Nazis reversed them for their swastika. That much I could remember.

I have to wonder why Iran would even consider threats of nukes on countries that have them, too, and can retaliate with same. Sanity has never been their strong suit, has it?

Not ot distract the thread but the swastik used to be a fashion symbol even before it was hijacked and perverted by the Nazis. They are prevalent all over India and even in the Buddhist SE Asia.

Googling will turn up a wealth of information on the pervasiveness of the symbol across history and continents.
