I don't know. They do seem to love pictures, symbolism and such. I just don't know. That phrase of "EOM is time to trip the wire. We have received no response. Proceed on your timetable," thing, sounds to me like it's just carry on with your bad self. Ya know? I'm thinking the 'received no response' thing was in tune with their earlier reposting of the 'final urgent letter' (again). I took it the Bush Administration failed to respond to terrorist demands, again. :) Soo, guess it means all systems are go, proceed.

When reading his "trip the wire" phrase and his reference to cave of darkness, it makes me think blackout - a massive coast to coast blackout.

I read this post and I take the above to mean that since the source of the text is lying and desperate, he/she knows that nothing will come out of his/her appeal to EOM. Hence, he/she has to qualify it with "We have received no response." What the poster means is that he/she knows he/she is a fake and when the time has come and gone and nothing happens, is not because he/she is a phony, it's that they "have received no response," hence the plan could not be activated.
