Precisely, they had one shot at us and they used it on September 11th. If they had access to or possessed WMDs of any type, we would have eaten them that day because it was use them or lose them. Why throw sticks of you have logs?

Why throw logs if you have sticks? Well first, four airplanes aren't exactly low tech weapons. The WTC collapses have the seismic impact of a magnitute 2 earthquake if memory serves me correctly.

Secondly, the Islamists have an apocalyptic agenda to carry out, cultimating with the return of the mahdi, who side by side with Jesus defeats the Anti-Christ (Dajjal) by slaying him with Al-Battar, the sword of the prophets. In order for the mahdi to be declared a whole series of events have to take place.

September 11 was but one chess piece on the board. To reach checkmate, the other pieces have to be lined up just right.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that we approach the State of the Union address without anguish that terrorism has touched our soil once more. Greatly are You to be praised, Father, for as vigilant as we are, only You can prevent the enemy from piercing those places where we have been lax. Continue to look with favor upon us, I pray, not by merit of our own, but because You are a loving and merciful God ... You are the foundation on which our beloved country was founded ... let us not forget the benefits You have provided.

May our countrymen be assured that our safety and security are foremost for our President ... grant him good success, for he looks to You for wisdom and guidance. Let all who are charged with our care be like-minded ... vigilant and knowledgeable and swift and sure. Hold back all attempts to do us harm, for we cherish our liberty and life. Draw the hearts of other nations to this country, that they desire freedom and liberty ... grant them courage and conviction to completely destroy the tide of terrorism that threatens every nation.
