Unlike you, though, I do have a particularly bad feeling about this one, which is not like me normally. I know this is not necessarily significant, but it certainly seems that this situation warrants close scrutiny.
I won't say this one hasn't raised my concern level, it has. It has spurred me into a reading all the messages in all the threads here and elsewhere on the subject and spending more hours than I should trying to square the ends, so to speak. I've already read other threads since I posted my first message and found a few points that could could be added.
I also ran across some Ramadan websites and quite a few space/moon websites. A dual eclipse isn't all that unusual. A dual total eclipse is rather unusual and a total eclipse falling on Ramadan is a somewhat rare event. That said, now I'm trying to figure out if this is a total eclipse. I've seen conflicting reports, I believe they are both total though. The last total eclipse was in 1786 and the next one is in 2155(I think). If that is accurate, this will be the one in a lifetime chance for them. That's disturbing.
Furthermore, as mentioned there were the AlQaeda tapes released just recently. All of this combines to really appear as if they are trying very hard to pull this off. Motivated people usually succeed. Fanatics who are motivated can be quite deadly. That became blindingly obvious on 9.11.01.
