"It's probably been thought of already, but if terrorists, even one or 2, have been able to penetrate security, then there's no stopping anybody who goes through their lines."

Well, since they are so busy frisking and searching old ladies and children, that leaves less time for the real threats!! That new color code system (red, yellow & green)may be very helpful in this regard.

Considering the type of people that used to work in screening, that's a scary thought. I hope the TSA vetted them carefully, but if they have a good cover then anything's possible.

Now, as for the people that service the plane???? Oh brother, I think the catering, cleaning etc. are still contracted out and that is a big hole in the security as far as I'm concerned.

I've been worried about ground employees at airports too.

Not sure anyone is keeping enough watch on them. I've mentioned it before, but I once sat at O'Hare near the baggage area, just waiting, and then noticed people wandering in and out of a door that was clearly marked "To the Planes" or similar.

Those people were wearing badges, and were no doubt ground crew, but really anybody could have gone through that door, and if there are fake badges, who's to know? Nobody was checking them.
