"Personally I think the idea of creating large-scale earthquakes like that is just wishful thinking - the logistical problems are huge, most especially if you need to keep your preparations secret."
___________________________________________________________

I hope that it is just wishful thinking. This would be devastating. I can imagine the panic and chaos. Well, thanks for your explanation.

If you want to see a movie that will kind of scare you, check out "The Peacemaker."

Wow, thanks for enlightening me. I love to learn new things. That is why I am so addicted to this thread. However, your message is very worrisome. I was hoping that this would not be possible, especially the explosion of a volcano. Go figure!

By the way, you should have a PhD in life. I see why everyone loves you so much. *smile*

"What could "a stronger strike than nuclear weapons" mean?

They brag about destroying a whole city or something, right? Well, didn't they brag they were going to bringthe whole country down and destroy the ecomomic heart of the beast or some B.S. before 9/11. Obviously 9/11 was huge, but it didn't come close to bringing our country down. (Shoot, the liberals act like it never happened.)

Dear Joy,

You are a delightful person.

Almost hate to tell you, but Seattle has had an earthquake, only a 3+, but still strange to happen tonight.

I quit school in the 10th grade and got married (16 years old), by 21, I discovered how little I knew, so have been learning every since.

Sometimes, I wish that I had kept to a limited range of subjects and gone for a degree, but then look at all I would have missed learning.

The propaganda links seem to show a lot of new members, I looked at the middle one, sure didn't like the top link.

Re: post 10878

I will check out the book "Back To Eden" by Jethro Kloss. I believe in herbs, but it is hard to find someone who truly knows how to use them. I don't trust the herbs or the herbal books that are so widely distributed in the stores. I used to know a woman who had an herbal shop, but she moved a year ago. She was wonderful.

You have such a youthful personality that is full of spunk. It shows within your writing. Never lose that. My great-grandmother had that spunk and she lived to be 100. Both of my grandmothers are still living and they are so spunky that you wouldn't believe their ages (73 and 88). They are so strong and independent. They never hesitate to "put you in your place". *smile* Yet, they are so very loving. Anyway, in my opinion, there is a correlation between spunkiness and longevity.

Thanks for the info. *smile*

Take care,
Joy

Canadian Press

Thursday, January 15, 2004

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "She is now a key witness against Ajaib Singh Bagri in the bombing of an Air India plane that killed 329 people. But in court in December she claimed she doesn't remember giving any of the incriminating evidence laid out in the statement."

LOL.

My brother absolutely loves Ren & Stimpy. I watched it and fell out laughing. I started watching it all of the time when I was in college. I haven't seen it in a long time. It was kind of like the Beavis thing and the Pinky & the Brain. I couldn't get enough of it. After a while, however, I just stopped watching it. It didn't interest me anymore.

I remember that it was hilarious, though.

I didn't know that they had a "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" song. This username was the first thing that came to my mind when I was registering on this site. I am very happy with my life, so I chose the title.

I carried one of these for three years to VPN into my office. The SecureID token on the left is about the size of an automotive key fob, the other two look to be credit card sized. Easily misplaced, I spent a couple days looking for mine once.

My daughter is only three years old. She is into Barney, Caillou, Clifford, Dragon Tales, Dora the Explorer, etc. Basically, she could look at Noggin and the PBS Kids Channel all day if I let her. She knows Spongebob Squarepants, though. My brother loves it. Is it good?

Yes, I saw "The Peacemaker" on video and agree with you, texasbluebell. Clooney is on my "do not watch" list, too, but Mr. hummingbird brought it home so I watched it anyway. Relevant indeed.
