If any Freepers would like to take a break from politics and write about their favorite restaurant I could really use the content. I have a review section on Cheflive.com for positive reviews only. If you have a great place that you love to and eat please write a review and send it to me.

If well written i will post it on our site and I will notify the establishment so that they can provide some photos of the folks and the food.

There is no size limit of the review or what type of food. I don't car if it is Tijuana Joes in Berkeley California or the Hong Kong Tea House in Sydney Australia.

My favorite place is "FiRE + iCE in Providence, RI.

The food is fabulous, fresh and plentiful. The best value is a lunchtime meal that costs you $9.95 for as many trips to the grill as you like. They serve a great variey of draught beers served in sizes up to 22 oz. pilsner glasses. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a unique eating experience.

if you're ever in NJ, you must try the Park West diner on the westbound side of rt.46 in Little Falls. the burgers are literally their own food group.

Mrs. F & I like El Burro Mexican Restaurant in the Pruneyard Shopping Center, Campbell, CA.

It's been there since 1970 and is seldom low on customers.

Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Service is generally very good, even when the restaurant is busy (we found service at its sister restaurant in Newark, CA to be not as good).

My favorite meal is the breaded steak Milanesa with flour tortillas. Mrs. F. usually gets the Chicken Enchilada with Suiza sauce.

I've seen some complaints on the internet that the food quality at EB isn't good, but we find it to be just fine. Judging by how routinely busy the place is, a lot of people agree with us.

Victoria's is a well-appointed yet family-friendly upscale restaurant with unique yet tasteful decor and a unique and EXTENSIVE menu. I've seen phone books with less entries!

There is a wine list, and mixed drinks are on the menu.

There are FIFTY items on the appetizer menu alone!

The portions are VERY generous; I have never been able to finish a meal there. All dinners include rolls and bread, plus soup or salad or dessert.

My husband and I took a 6'8" friend of his there for dinner last month. He finished his meal. Barely.

I have not even BEGUN to wade through their menu; it is a daunting task. Be prepared to take time selecting your meal.

There are 13 wine/tomato-based sauces and 19 wine/cream-based sauces for pasta, plus a host of other Sicilian-style dishes.

There is also gourmet pizza - 16 kinds!

Of course there is seafood galore!

Last but not least - yes there is a children's menu.


My favorite dish is the Saltivoka sauce over pasta. It is sautéed-in-butter garlic, shiitake and white cap mushrooms and green peppercorns in a cream and brandy sauce.

My husband's favorite is the Fusilli Mille Gusti which is fusilli pasta sautéed in olive oil, garlic and butter, with zucchini, peas, asparagus, walnuts, pistachio, pinenuts, pecans, red pepper, eggplant, mushrooms, cream, black olives, meat sauce, capers, carrots and prosciutto.

Expect to spend anywhere from $10-$25 for dinner, depending on your selection. Bring an appetite and friends, family, business associates; anyone you want to impress. Dress is casual.
