Hi Sharks,

So far the natives have been pretty restful. I was out on the road this morning with my faithful driver/guard and things are pretty quiet.

We're starting so much construction work and the whole project is such a high profile, and the locals want the project, the would-be disrupters are laying low.

Don't recall if I mentioned it to you, but two months ago on this very road, a group of idiots ambushed a dynamite truck trying to hijack it and got into a big shootout with the cops who were guarding the truck. Well the truck blew up in the fire fight and there were 6 killed. The truck was carrying 27-tons of dynamite...left a 30-foot crater which our guys had to fill to re open the road. They found no one and only enough of the truck to fill a 55-gallon drum.

I'm glad I'm only doing this for the adventure!!
