Wings is working with a German U-boat, found in the Gulf of Mexico. The U-166 is the only one we sank in the Gulf in WW II.
It was part of the plot of several thrillers and detective novels, supposedly full of NAZI Gold Bullion.
No, there wasn't really any gold, and no designer shoes either.
Everyone knew it went down off New Orleans, but no one fould find it for years.
