We are ok up here, Gran and thanks for asking. There is a fire in North San Luis Obispo County and we can see the smoke but we are ok.

The fires in socal are awful..there are 14 deaths now. One of the fires was started by some dolt of a hunter who set a fire so his buddy could locate him..doh! What I kind of wonder about is something I heard or thought I heard on the news tonight which was something to the effect that there are other fires that were arson..I am not sure if the meaning was that these other fires are arson too..

My Aunt and Uncle in San Diego are finding it difficult to breathe, and have to constantly clean the ash out of their pool's filter. My Uncle and Aunt in San BURNardino were told to prepare to evacuate, so had their important papers and such gathered up, but the danger seems to be over for them, though Uncle John did have to help his daughter-in-law pack up and evacuate for real. Her husband is a police officer in the area and could not spare the time to help his own family.
