Do you ever use a fireplace in Texas? I can't remember if Bill and Chrissy had one or not. I think maybe they did.

In the summer they just put buckets of ice on the grate with a fan behind it.

Most all houses here have fireplaces - whether the owners ever use them is another matter. I seal mine up so we don't get so much cooling loss in the summertime.

Nothing like backing up to a toasty fire, but what a pain to deal with all the ashes, etc.
