So you are really having your Spring weather now?

Not really, if it warms up quickly in the Spring and the snow in the mountains melts quickly, then we are apt to get river flooding...

Right now it is fairly warm and the Pineapple Express is bringing in a lot of moisture that falls as rain in the mountains and the lowlands and it all runs downhill....

The Pineapple Express is the jet stream running over Hawaii and straight here...lol

I guess it could have been bugs breaking the water surface, but I've seen fish do the same thing. They make little water ripples. OOOHHH scarey movie on lifetime, I think.

Two weeks from yesterday.. Our friends will pick us up at the airport and we'll head out for well deserved cocktails and dinner..

The four of us have missed having our sunset cocktails together.. ;)

Nope, no pot in the garage overwinter.
I soft planted it into the ground.
I've always had roses, even when I was little, and always ended up helping out with them.

Hopefully, this will be a good idea with this one.

Cocktails at sunset. Sighhhhh. Sounds wonderful, but I don't dare. 'Sides, it would make me want to smoke more. I think that's why Bess is watching, she knows it's about time for me to sneak one. LOL.

No, we didn't go home last year either. It's awful traveling on the holidays, and we will stay put again this year.

The family is so big now, that it's hard for us all to get together, and some of the kids have to go to other parents, etc. You know how it is..

Plus.. I don't get sick anymore.. It's been over a year since I had a cold. Winter at home with all the school kids is deadly..and I was coming back to Fl and being sick for a month.. Can't take that anymore. :(
