Incumbent Alaska Sen. Dan S. Sullivan on Sunday warned that the alleged scheme by allies of Dem rival Mary Peltola to recruit another Dan Sullivan onto the ballot “is working” and confusing voters.
“Their first order of business, like I said, is, ‘How can we trick people in Alaska so they can throw the vote in a way that’s certainly deceitful, if not illegal, towards Peltola?'” the Republican senator vented to CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“By the way, their scheme is working,” he said. “They got the decoy guy on the ballot. I’m sure I’m going to lose a lot of votes to that trickery.”
Peltola, a former congresswoman, has been slammed by bombshell revelations from the New York Times that her allies worked to recruit retired public-school teacher Dan J. Sullivan, now known as “Decoy Dan,” to run for the Senate seat, too.
Although she has denied involvement, the outlet quoted her former campaign manager, Elisa Rios, who claimed Peltola was “definitely aware.”
Rios had been pushed out of the campaign during an August reshuffling, along with other top staff.
“Decoy Dan” is registered as a Republican, despite voting Democrat in recent presidential election cycles and reportedly having a magnet of far-left revolutionary Che Guevara on his refrigerator.
For months, both “Decoy Dan” and Peltola’s camp had denied a connection between her team and his decision to run, but the outlet also found other staffers on her old campaign operation and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and text messages to identify a connection.

I don’t think so. He’s probably playing it safe by playing the panic factor. I can’t see why Alaskans would allow themselves to be taken as chumps but then wha’ do I know?
If his election team didn’t blanket the state with the ballot and which one to vote for that’s on him. Tell me the ballot doesn’t have his middle initial on it?
You bet this is dirty tricks but we either have a electorate that knows how to vote or we don’t.
Dirty tricks are nothing to Demonicrats, who are lying, perverted, murdering traitors.
Imagine the Republicans taking a page from the “Decoy Dan” playbook two years from now. Further imagine the reaction by the Democrats if the ‘Pubs actually pull off a similar stunt. “That’s not fair!”

Since you want to put so much on the electorate and say they should know their part in voting, then at least you could call what the Dems did for what it truly is.
It’s not a “dirty trick”, its selfish power hungry calculated evil minded people not caring who or however many people they deceive and manipulate to get what they want. And should they succeed they will rejoice in their evil doing. These are the sort of people we walk amongst and have to some degree controlling aspects of our lives.
The fact Ilhan, this Peltola woman, the guy in Michigan, mamdani, rasidha, aoc, Pelosi, schumer, obama, so many others past and present, could just trample our constitution and be so uncaring for US Citizens as to conjure up all these ways of cheating and stealing and destroying fellow US Citizens lives by their actions (how many thousands have been killed, millions harmed in many ways by them, even just in recent decades?)....they are not “dirty trick(s)” like pranks kids play. They have given their minds and hearts to evil, and evil has devoured them.
The fact Alaska made decoy Dan have his legal middle initial instead of the fake one he originally wanted to use to exactly match the incumbent doesn’t really count much into the truth that they are evil and will not stop their march toward their evil intentions to destroy USA completely.
Some are doing it in the name of socialism, communism, islam, marxism but it is all done in love/god of themselves, and hate for God and fellow man.
I always tell them “no thanks” for the stickers. I’m not 5 years old.

I’ve already voted where I’m at and yes many voters are idiots but the ballots here clearly state Republican or Democrat and have (Incumbent) beside which ever one is.
How hard is that?
