Former Rep. Mike Rogers (R) is edging out Democrat Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed in the Michigan Senate race, a poll from Alliance for a Better Future, first obtained by Breitbart News, reveals.
The survey highlights a “major shift” from its September tracking poll of the race, showing Rogers with a three-point gain and El-Sayed with no movement.
In this survey, conducted October 6-8, 2026, Rogers sees 46 percent support — up from 43 percent in the last survey. El-Sayed remains flat with 44 percent support in both surveys. This gives Rogers a two-point edge ahead of the Democrat mere weeks ahead of election day.
The survey’s memo attributes Rogers’ boost, in part, to his support for AI security measures and the conservative organization’s efforts to highlight this policy:
In our September survey, the initial ballot stood at 44 percent – 43 percent in favor of El-Sayed. After voters were shown ABF’s Rogers ad, the informed ballot shifted to 47 percent – 45 percent in favor of Rogers. The hypothetical shift we saw in our September survey played out in reality over the past two weeks, as Rogers netted 3 percent of ballot share.
Building on this, earlier this week Rogers said he would “make it a top priority to pass the national security framework we need on AI.”
This coincides with the 81 percent of voters in the survey that stated they want “further federal regulation of AI.”
The survey was conducted among 600 likely Michigan voters and coincides with the conservative organization also highlighting Rogers’s AI framework position in a seven-figure TV and digital campaign in September.

All the REAL polls are beginning to be published as we get closer to the election.
It’s tough to get Independents to vote for a guy who’s Mother apparently funded terrorism. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
“edging out” is worrisome. Should be a landslide.
ALL polls are psychological tools to manipulate voters, no matter who they say is ahead.
GO OUT AND VOTE!
I think it will be a landslide...for Rogers. I think people are starting to get it.
Only edging out a Commie Jihadi? How could that be close. Woke women?
Just the suggestion that Abdul might be involved in the
hate-filled Muslim Brotherhood is hurting him bigtime.
This poll isn’t reflected on RealClearPolitics. I wonder why...
If this turns out to be true, someone at NBC should keep sharp objects away from Kristen Welker on the night of the Midterms.
Right. And the news media abhor blowouts because viewers will breathlessly turn on the network coverage for the cliffhangers-—but will yawn and go to bed for “Breaking News. Dems win again in California. Winning Dem to speak to supporters.”
So close polling results are loved by the news media.
RE: GO OUT AND VOTE!
I second that emotion.
Nod to Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, song written by Smokey Robinson and Al Cleveland. 1967 hit.
This shows how hard it is to get the rank-and-file Democrat voters to break from their learned behavior to vote for anyone with a D next to their name.
Maybe in the privacy of the voting booth some will come to their senses and take that first step towards freedom.

A poll by a conservative group that only was founded in earlier this year...
Now, I have no idea if they personally conducted it, or just commissioned it.. and if they commissioned it, who actually performed the polling.
However, while I do believe Sayed will lose MI, I wouldn’t claim this is a “real poll” based on that.
I don’t believe Sayed will win MI, and I agree it should be a blowout against him.
I personally believe the polling is way off in MI, as someone who’s lived in the upper midwest for over 4 decades now, I believe fundamentally MI voters are too decent to put this guy into office.
It will be closer that it should be because, well many democrats will vote D no matter what or who.. and the muslim population of MI will likely vote for this guy no matter what just because he’s a Muslim... but I do not think he will win.
The key to this election, like most modern election boils down to turnout... MI is moving right, just like all of the upper midwest, but if GOP and particularly MAGA voters are complacent, Dems certainly can win in places they should not have a chance at.
The MI, I just don’t see Sayed having a prayer, its too tight of a state to bleed off parts of your base, and Sayed will lose a lot of dems there.
We shall see how it all plays out. But if GOP/Maga voters are complacent, dems will likely sneak out some wins they shouldn’t.
Actually this is one election where the media is openly covering the segments of the Democrat coalition that appear to not be supporting Sayed.
He did abysmally in the primary in Detroit, blacks did not vote for him.. Many Jews as well are openly stating they won’t vote for him.. Now will that abysmal performance with blacks hold through the general? We have yet to see, but I they will... Perhaps not as pronounced as the primary but I would bet black turnout in Detriot will be down significantly.. and while Jews aren’t a giant constituency in MI, I suspect a decent number will not vote for him either.
In state that is as close as MI has been, a dem (or a republican) can’t afford to bleed off too much of their base and have a chance to win.
We shall see, but I fully expect Rodgers to win, and while it won’t be the blowout it should be, I don’t think its going to be incredibly tight either. We’ll see.
Exactly.
With all we know about this other Muslim Mamdummy wannabe, how the hell its it even close?
