That is correct. However, about 6 months ago they issued a recall for my wires into the heart because they might have developed too much resistance. I went in and they upped the shock level but I wasn't shocked.
When they replaced the device the other day, they tested the wires and mine are OK, so they didn't change them out.
Thanks for info. My dad had one put in earlier this year. It was just a single wire..
