U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and U.N. General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock are under fire for honoring a Hamas terrorist leader who worked for schools funded by the notorious U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The U.N. refused to apologize on Tuesday, shrugging off the terrorist’s inclusion as an innocent mistake.
The U.N. held an annual service in June to memorialize employees who died during the previous year. The event, which was attended by Guterres and Baerbock, featured the lighting of a candle dubbed the “eternal flame" while the names of 136 fallen U.N. employees were read to the sound of a mournful violin.
One of those names was Imad El Samhouri, who was working as a teacher and principal of the UNRWA Preparatory Boys School B in Rafah when he was killed by an Israeli airstrike in June 2025.
Critics of the United Nations, including Israeli ambassador Danny Danon and U.N. Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer, were outraged that El Samhouri was included in the ceremony – or indeed that he was employed by UNRWA, since he was a well-known Hamas leader with a long trail of incriminating social media posts.
Neuer posted the evidence on social media platform X, including a “martyrdom video” in which El Samhouri posed in military garb, surrounded by guns and grenades.

Withdrawing all US funding for the next couple of years could be said to be "an Innocent mistake."
1) The United Nations ought to be kicked out of NY/USA immediately no matter what is going on and along with every worthless POS human inside the place.
2) This massive building gets torn down and recycled into a park or something.
Out of curiosity I just looked it up. The United States contributes an astounding 27.8% of the UN’s total funding. For that we get, well, nothing good in return.
Assessed Contributions 6.8%
Voluntary Contributions 21.0%
The “voluntary contributions” amount should be exactly zero.
President Trump, please make it so.
I reluctantly think we should stay in the UN, though. And only because we have a veto in the Security Council. That stops the UN from going totally off the rails.
We OWE them? For what? For targeting us every chance they get?
Start by kicking them out of NYC with the idea that the US will be dropping out soon.
I’m still hopeful Trump, before his term is over, will get us out of the UN and get that godless body out of the US.
Haiti and Cuba aren't too far away, and office space and lodging would be pretty inexpensive.....
Agree most of it is operate by a syndicate that deal in billions and they make the rules.
UN aka United Nations aka UM aka United Muslims
