I believe it was the entire Democrat machine that eliminated Swawell so the far more palatable Democrat Tom Steyer could proceed. Katie Porter is a non-starter, she is a well known harridan in the state.

With illegals voting, and mass vote fraud- no voter ID, mail-in ballots, ballot counting allowed up to 30 days after the election....

And, even though two Republicans are in the lead in the polls for the jungle primary in June, I wouldn’t be surprised if Steyer comes “from behind” to win one of the two slots for the Nov. election - and then wins it all.
