MN Somali Medicaid Fraud Investigation Reveals Terrorist Link — ‘Largest Funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota Taxpayer’

Somalis in Minnesota swindled millions in state Medicaid autism-care programs and sent the cash back to their homeland and its terror groups, investigators say.

Breitbart News reported in July that nearly 100 autism clinics in Minnesota were being investigated for fraudulently billing Medicaid for treatment of children supposedly diagnosed with autism, most of it in connection with the rampantly corrupt Somali community around Minneapolis.

But the fraud is far more widespread with far more money involved than was previously reported — all of which has been presided over by former Democrat Party vice-presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz.

The money paid out by Minnesota’s scandal-plagued welfare schemes is monumental. The state’s failed Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program, for instance, was kicked off in 2021 with expenses expected to ring in at $2.6 million. But instead, the program paid out $21 million its first year. In each subsequent year the program ballooned to $42 million, then $74, and then $104 million, respectively. During the first half of 2025, costs had already reached $61 million, according to City Journal.

The stolen billion in Medicaid and welfare money didn’t merely go into the pockets of corrupt Somalian migrants. They also went to fund terrorism in Africa.

City Journal’s Ryan Thorpe and Christopher F. Rufo have traced millions in fraudulent funding going to the al-Qaida-linked Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab. “Minnesota’s Somali community has sent untold millions through a network of ‘hawalas,’ informal clan-based money-traders, that have wound up in the coffers of Al-Shabaab,” the pair wrote.

I used to have a very large sheep farm. The followers of Islam used to come buy my lambs. A very few were wonderful human beings. Most were awful attitudes. I had two stock dogs that worked for me. One Heeler for way out in the pastures miles away for management. The other, a Border Collie that would carefully and gently work them inside enclosed areas and feed-lots.

I could read the Muslims by the reactions of my dogs to their presence. That said, the ratio of good to bad was very similar to my local citizens of traditional American heritage. (FWIW)

Here in Washington state...

A couple years ago, a state audit concluded that $700 million of Covid aid was stolen, and much of that was sent to Africa.

Then, the amount was reduced, a couple times.

Then, the story just disappeared.

The state executive in charge of the Department that lost the most money, refused to answer questions under oath, and resigned.

She was the matriarch of a wealthy family that donated generously to the Democratic Party each year.

Joe Biden appointed her to a Washington D.C. job, she and her husband moved there, and I never saw another word about the missing Covid money.

People should follow your lead and adopt dogs from local shelters, and let them cool off at such ponds on hot summer days. Even better would be to target pools behind private homes that are owned by mooze-limbs.

Medicaid also needs the kind of housecleaning that is being talked about with SNAP.

And anyone not a citizen engaged in it needs to be deported immediately, no questions asked, no exceptions.

Those who are citizens need jail time and somehow to pay back what they stole.

I did not recognize her name at the time, and I do not recall her name now.

This took place while Joe Biden was filling federal government jobs, probably the first six months of 2021.

The missing Covid money was either health related, or assistance for struggling businesses, or both.

The Washington D.C. job was federal government, but not not top tier, where you might recognize names.
