I own the book and as a person with a historical mindset, it’s one of the most nonsensical books posing as history I’ve read. Which is saying a lot, because I’ve read many trash history books over the last 40+ years.

The violent punk/math genius in the movie “Good Will Hunting” liked it, but that dude didn’t have a clue about history.

An exceptional prodigy in certain academic fields, but a complete moron in studies beyond his comprehension.

I was going to remind you that it was really the writer of Good Will Hunting who was a complete moron in studies beyond his comprehension, since the characters are fictional. I looked it up on imdb.com to see who got the writing credit. It is shared by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. So complete morons and not exceptional prodigies in any academic fields.
