Yesterday, Speaker Johnson told us he was worried that if we declassified items in the files without consulting the intelligence agencies, it would be "incredibly dangerous" because, uh, critical sources must be protected.
Leftwing commentators were quick to come to their own wild conclusions:

We also found out that Speaker Johnson, and possibly Trump, were not too happy about the bill:

I'm concerned that now [Trump] is opening a flurry of investigations and I believe they may be trying to use those investigations as a predicate for not releasing the files ... I'm afraid they're going to try to use a provision of the law that allows you not to release these materials if they're subject of an ongoing investigation ... the release of which would harm the ongoing investigation.

Massie is right in my opinion, but it’s more than just the USA and Israel. Epstein worked with probably scores of governments with his deals and this is probably the reason Trump stalled on his campaign promises because he got enormous heat or pressure. It’s not like the Democrats Hope because he’s implicated

For example, Epstein did a deal involving the Iraqi pipeline where Israel agreed to stop Iran from bombing it and it was facilitated through Israel the United States western European countries and I think Saudi Arabia and Bechtel built it and if I’m not mistaken, 30% of the deal went to make everybody happy and I can assure you, Epstein got a nice chunk

There is a lot of stuff like this out there, but the media doesn’t report it. They would rather report that Trump is implicated or talk about the girls, but in reality, the girls were basically tools that Epstein exploded for himself personally and when they got too old, he passed them on to his friends. A lot of people don’t realize most of these girls were over 18 but some of them were young and some may have been very young and that might come out. I just don’t know.
If everything goes back to Adnan Khashoggi, I don’t know how many people here remember him, but that was a while back, but I think he got his start there plus the chairman of Bear Stearns took him under his wing. I don’t think the stuff with Epstein on the intelligence statecraft happened by accident
It’s also to me really strange that Bill Barr, daddy who was CIA and lighter the headmaster at the Dalton school if I’m not mistaken helped Epstein get the job

I see the Senate quickly approve this too unanimously, which is good and they have 30 days for the department of justice to release what they have

I had watched every single one of Trumps campaign rallies and he NEVER once during those rallies ever promised or ran on releasing ANY Epstein files. In fact he never mentioned Epstein because its a huge conflict of interest for him since he knew him, but the media still runs with “Trump promised to release the files” NO HE DIDNT, he would never have campaigned on it and he never did
IMHO it was a “joint-venture” operation.
