“The DOJ has the names and cooperation of Venezuelan engineers who actually participated in the theft of US, German, and other elections around the world through the Dominion software.”

These Venezuelans and their families are in the custody of our Patriots.

It seems to me that Trump could tighten the financial screws on a state as easily as he could a country. He’s threatening to do it to New York City. Why can’t he do it to Colorado?

That wasn’t very clear I guess. The feds are trying to get Tina’s conviction overturned based on the violation of her due process rights. But they can’t pardon her because the charges are state charges, not federal.

Sorry for stating it badly.

He can’t pardon her.

They can find ways to complicate the people involved, and the state, itself, though.

I’m not going to fault you - I just figured it was another one of my “fog” moments when I read and re-read it...

Do you think the DOJ is serious about getting some action for the poor woman? My goodness, we’re talking about not a very young person with cancer!!!! I can’t imagine what she must be going through...It’s also odd that we don’t hear anything or much on the news...it should be covered every day as much as all the garbage is repeated hour after hour...

I HOPE the president is aware of it and I can’t imagine that he wouldn’t be ... and hope he is telling everyone in his administration/cabinet to pull every string available..maybe even some that aren’t...

Wasn’t there a movie years ago about a rescue of a prisoner from a prison using a helicopter????? THAT would be a good use of our $$$...

Trump doesn’t seem to hear about the crappy treatment his supporters get. If we were talking about a BLM killer in prison I think he’d have someone working on it. Derek Chauvin is in a federal prison for the rest of his life, he’s already been nearly killed, but Trump won’t lift a finger. Trump is afraid of losing all the “progress” he’s made in winning the black vote. This woman in Arizona is a patriot, but she gets absolutely zero help. Dumb Blondi is a worthless pos.

His voice stands for something. If he can send a letter and speak openly about calling off Netanyahu’s trial then he can certainly send a letter and speak up for her!

They may have found a way for Trump to give her a pardon. The DOJ and FBI were involved in her conviction.

He has done what he can.

Background on Tina PetersTina Peters, a former Republican county clerk in Mesa County, Colorado, was convicted in August 2024 on seven felony and misdemeanor counts related to a 2021 security breach of voting equipment. Prosecutors proved she allowed unauthorized access to the county's Dominion voting machines, disabled security cameras, used a stolen employee badge for impersonation, and leaked sensitive passwords online—actions aimed at substantiating unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. These claims, echoed by then-President Donald Trump, alleged the election was "stolen" from him, but no evidence supported them in multiple audits and court cases. Peters was sentenced in October 2024 to nine years in state prison, where she remains as of November 17, 2025, while appealing her conviction. During her trial and sentencing, she showed no remorse and reiterated election fraud narratives, prompting the judge to call her a "charlatan" who abused her office.Peters has become a symbol in far-right circles for "election integrity," with supporters like Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and election denier Mike Lindell (MyPillow CEO) amplifying her cause. Her actions fueled death threats against election officials nationwide and cost Colorado taxpayers millions in security upgrades.Has President Trump Acted on Her Behalf?Yes, President Trump (in his second term) has repeatedly and publicly advocated for Peters' release, framing her as an "innocent political prisoner" and "hostage" persecuted by "crooked Colorado Democrats" for exposing 2020 "fraud." His actions include direct public demands, threats against the state, and federal interventions—though limited by her state-level conviction, which prevents a presidential pardon (only Colorado Gov. Jared Polis can grant clemency there). Here's a timeline of key actions:

Date
Trump's Action
Details
Outcome
May 2025
Directed DOJ via social media
Posted on Truth Social: "I am hereby directing the Department of Justice to take all necessary action to help secure the release of [Peters]... FREE TINA PETERS, NOW!" DOJ filed motions supporting her federal habeas corpus petition to argue her detention violates free speech.
Ongoing; DOJ involvement escalated federal scrutiny of her case, but no release. Colorado AG Phil Weiser opposed it as an "outrageous scheme."
August 2025
Renewed public threats
Posted: "FREE TINA PETERS... Let Tina Peters out of jail, RIGHT NOW. She did nothing wrong... If she is not released, I am going to take harsh measures!!!" Referenced her as a "very sick" Gold Star mother (her son died in military service).
No immediate release; amplified pressure from allies like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who urged a pardon (impossible federally).
September 2025
Verbal commitment
Responded to Peters' direct plea: "We’re going to do something."
Led to increased advocacy but no concrete federal action at the time.
November 10, 2025
Pardon attorney signals intervention
Trump's DOJ Pardon Attorney Ed Martin announced on Steve Bannon's podcast that the administration notified Colorado of intent to transfer Peters to federal custody, citing her as a potential witness in 2020 election probes.
Formal letter sent November 13; Colorado officials resisted, stating no basis exists and opposing any "scheme" to evade state accountability.
November 17, 2025
Ongoing custody push
Trump administration's Bureau of Prisons formally requested transfer to federal facility (e.g., for "health reasons" or witness protection). Trump reposted demands on Truth Social/X.
As of today, transfer denied by Colorado; Peters remains in state prison in Pueblo. Weiser vowed to "strongly oppose" efforts.
Context and LimitationsTrump's involvement substantiates claims of acting "on behalf" of Peters by leveraging his platform and administration to challenge her detention, though success remains stalled by legal barriers. If new developments occur (e.g., successful transfer), it could enable easier federal relief.

The state’s governor would need to pardon her.

That's not going to happen. He's one of the ones who put her in there.
