My mother did under Franco . She lived thru the Spanish Revolution and we arrived here in ‘70. I not only heard enough to understand. .When I worked at the airport and large groups of Chinese tourists would come thru… it was remarkable to see how they didn’t seem capable of thinking for themselves.

If you were arrested, fired, and/or your business closed during The Covid Years for not wearing your maks, not taking the jibby-jab, questioning the authorities about anything related to Covid-19, enjoying the out of doors, keeping your business open, or doing anything elected officials and annointed specialists could do with impunity that you could not…then I’d say yes, you can send it in for review.

I've seen that on my visits to Japan . . . up-close and ugly. Rushing elevators, crowding in line and making general arses of themselves. The contrast with the ultra-polite Japanese is like night and day.

I was born and grew up in the good old Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR or СССР). All in all, I lived there for 40 years and experienced it personally inside out. They may pig it out in spades in NYC, I’ve eaten my fill. Thanks but no thanks. That’s why I live in Texas. I was not born in Texas but I got here as soon as I could.
