How is paying the debt not the most American thing you could do?

I’d rather this be done to reduce the deficit and perhaps...one day...reduce the debt...which would reduce long term inflation.

He is only giving the rebate to some of us, if he even does. He has excluded the affluent (He will determine who that is). We never get anything. We just pay the taxes. We are not affluent (I can tell because I have a budget), but we aren’t on any governmental services so we are always “affluent”.

Well...one difference would be that it is actual money vs. borrowed or printed money.

But we’ve still got so much of that going on that I agree it would be better to use this to reduce the deficit or pay down higher interest debt holdings.

“He said that the dividend of at least $2,000 would be paid to everyone, bar ‘high income people,’ although he did not state what the threshold for that would be.”

Tariffs are the best way to promote domestic industry and raise revenue.

If it successfully promotes domestic industry, it won't raise much revenue. Nobody pays tariffs on things made here.

But you already knew that ...

This one of the most dark negative anti MAGA sites on the internet made so by fake conservatives that are actually anti nationalist traitors.

It is a crazy idea.

Because a person pays $250/year/more for Chinese chattels is no reason to give that person $2,000.

The dividend is the ability to continue the tax cuts at 100%.

Someday we might get a stimulus check that used to be in an account held by Soros or some other enemy foreign/domestic..

Now that would be a great sign of obliteration and draining.

In order to discuss this topic with me you have to be a nationalist and PRO TARIFF. You are neither. I keep lists.

Because most mainstream gopers are free traitors he has to act like a populist. He wouldn’t have to if team right would drop the globalism. But traitors got to trade.

“I keep lists.”

I am sure you do.

I had an aunt that ‘kept lists.’ They tied her to a chair and hauled her off to the looney bin.

But I am sure you are fine.

Tariffs are the best way to promote domestic industry and raise revenue. WIN WIN.

All of you anti tariffs globalist Nazis are indeed crazy and traitorous.

As constructive criticism. You should have stuck with your first statement and not destroyed any credibility that you might have had with the second. I don't have strong feelings about this one way or the other, but anyone who name calls the way that you do is only demonstrating that the arguments for or against are far over your head.

For everyone who wants to help pay off the public debt, here’s the website. Once the dividend shows up in your checking account, just follow these instructions. Your conscience will immediately be salved.

Easy peasy!

https://www.treasurydirect.gov/help-center/public-debt-faqs/

How do you make a contribution to reduce the debt?

There are two ways for you to make a contribution to reduce the debt:

At Pay.gov, you can contribute online by credit card, debit card, PayPal, checking account, or savings account.
You can write a check payable to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, and, in the memo section, notate that it’s a gift to reduce the debt held by the public. Mail your check to:
Attn Dept G
Bureau of the Fiscal Service
P. O. Box 2188
Parkersburg, WV 26106-2188

So that’s $2,000 more per person in national debt for the grand children and great grandchildren to worry about, because we live in living generations that are ignoring it as if by ignoring it it will somehow get better or go away.

“he has to act like a populist.”

All he has to do is eat, drink water, and sit on white thrones.

He’s about 80 years old.
