And the foreigners make our dangerous roadways even worse. Approximately 6 to 7 million vehicle collisions occur each year in the U.S. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates around 6 million accidents annually, while other sources cite figures up to 7.3 million.
It’s way past time to shut down the 12,000 Sikh-owned trucking companies in the US.
That’s what I would consider a good start.
I’d be willing to chip in on an ad hoc basis and do part-time on the easier runs if the CDL training was included. I’ll bet many other able retirees, especially veterans, would as well if they weren’t penalized on their early SS payments for earning while collecting SS. Or change the SS rules where they could get higher payments after going back to work for a while and contributing into the system again. Trucking transportation is a national security issue. We saw this during COVID.
There’s compelling evidence of widespread CDL testing fraud.

I watched a news report on a trucking company that fitted non Americans with a Camera and ear phone. The guy went into the testing station and his buddy sat in the car with a microphone and lap top monitoring the camera. The people being tested would be told what to answer. Several people got caught because some of the those being rested were moving in weird ways so the guy monitoring in the car could read the question. You know these cheaters are not being paid a fair wage.
A fraudulently licensed CDL holder, on a HB-1 visa from India,
who spoke and understood very little English, caused this carnage.
One news report on a trucking company showed the cheat methodolgy:
