A lot of our systems don’t seem to do much of anything anymore, at some point it seems they become just a huge self sustaining organization of salaries, comfortable buildings, and big pensions.

If Superior Court Judge Michael Begert approves, McAlister’s case would be transferred to San Francisco Drug Court, which focuses on treatment and therapy, rather than imprisonment, SFist reported. They should be focused on quickly converting him into worm food.
