“We found $3.6 million for pastry cooking classes and dance focus groups for male prostitutes in Haiti. I kid you not. I’m not making this up. It was in the budget under President Biden.”
Kennedy went on to rattle off even more examples of this:
$6 million for media organizations for the Palestinians.
$833,000 for transgender people in Nepal.
$300,000 for a pride parade in Lesotho.
$882,000 for social media mentorship in Serbia.
$4.2 million for LGBTQI people in the Western Balkans and Uganda.

Sounds like he was just reading the list of stuff that was shut down, that they’re wanting back.

It should go farther than that. EVERY bill should be a stand alone. The bills are hundreds to thousands of pages long and no one reads them. These elected clowns look at the main gist of the bill and say yay or nay.
The items Kennedy exposed is likely things DOGE discovered and they are trying to get them back in. I seriously think those off the wall expenditures are actually graft.
And to think MTG (pronounced AOC) wants the Republicans to cave on the shut down.

This was one of the sources of contention. DOGE found the waste, but the budget was going forward with it still included. What a mess!
Musk & Co. had zero authority to shut down anything. There mission was to reveal and identify.
No doubt, political payoffs.
It seems that as long as their personal grift (and most seemed to have some one way or another...look how rich these losers in congress are) went through, they were happy to pass “omnibus” bills without reading any of it and have NO accountability.
Why is no one being arrested? Because they are apparently all part of the grift. So many criminals...so little time.
The Democrats shut down the government because the Republicans would not restart and refund those items.
The Democrats are trying to reverse the “One Big Beautiful Bill”.
Musk had no power to shut anything down. All he had was the power to identify things that should be shut down. Some were by Executive action many had to wait for Congressional budget action.
So therefore we are still paying for these things.
The sad part is all that money is still floating around in the “continuing resolution” and the Demons want to add more. $1.4 trillion more making the yearly deficit almost $3 trillion.
