And let’s not forget not one but two assassination attempts on Donald Trump. At least three by my count. There was a guy from Ohio (?) who wrote on Facebook or somewhere that he was going to Washington to kill President Trump. The FBI or Secret Service heard about it, found out that he really was travelling to Washington, and intercepted him 2 blocks from the White House.
I don't quite know how close you have to get before it's considered "an attempt".
