While true, you need to understand their intent. Liars mix truth and lies together to mess people up, to get their way with lies, to trick others, to mess with beliefs and gaslight people.
Those people really have no interest in genuine talking/debate.
Their stuff ceased to be typical political cartooning and became constant bashing and an extension of the democrat party. It ceased to be funny. Continual angry rants isn’t funny.

I listen to the leftists.
They usually operate from false (and sometimes unstated) premises. They invent or adopt false evidence, histories, facts.
Occasionally, they spot a problematical issue or area that needs attention, reformation. But usually their “solutions” only make things worse for America (and any society they are impacting).
I do listen to the leftists. They used to make good, logical points more often than nowadays. Today, they’re only worth listening to about 5 % of the time, and that is often just to find out what their latest target in American society is.
The Smothers Brothers was cancelled because they were part of the movement to destroy our country. They hid their hate with humor. I was about 15 when their show came out, I laughed at them, but understood that the protesters tipping cars over, and using the Public airwaves to incite the rebellious spirits, cannot be allow to continue. It is akin to CBS becoming a mouthpiece for anti-Americanism. Do it on your own, but not using the publics megaphone.
yes there were a number of prior-times entertainers who were anti-American. (it is not a new phenomenon). And yes, the Smothers Brothers did coat it with humor. Which made it more paletable as well as, alas, more effective.
There were several singers that I loved in their day, thought they were incredibly talented (still do). And alas, they were haters of America or at least American moral or national values.
