I figured so. “Assistant” = no tenure. “Anthropology” = cultural anthropology, ie jargon-choked gobbledygook bearing no relation to actual anthropology. “Informed by queer theory, feminist theory, psychoanalysis, and Marxist thought.” Laughable. You’d think that the most ardent lefty nutcase would want to keep his/her/its job over the presumed dopamine hit from making a derogatory post to the great unwashed social media sphere. When colleges and Universities realized they could accept students who couldn’t read at a fifth grade level and put them in ‘grievance’ majors - and charge them the exact same bloated tuition - (thanks to corrupt guaranteed ‘loan programs’ - these schools had to hire lots of professors... The question is: did they break pattern and still hire the best and brightest? Think about it. It was all downhill from there.
