Amiri King @AmiriKing A black man pulled out his junk and peed on a white child in a movie theater.
The father does what a father has to do in this societal jungle.
A good sharp knife would take care of the junk.
Haven’t been in 20+ years...
Even prior to the COVID-1984 lockdowns, movie ticket sales dropped from the peak year of 2002 to 2019 by 22%.
The lockdowns accelerated the inevitable.

That is intentional.
Create fear and people will stop congregating in public places.
Control is the name of the game............See North Korea for examples...............
👍 Good points.
That’s how it should be. :)
In a way this story is the last thing a movie theatre operator wants out there. It’s not going to shut them down overnight but it’s part of a long slow drip drip that eventually will.
We have a six plex movie theater near here. I have been to it one time, to see the remake of True Grit(2010).
As I check the movie schedules I see two Superhero movies, a horror, a Si-Fi film, fantasy and a children’s film.
Nothing for adults even though they are rated “R” and PG-13.
I used to go to movies quite often, Haven’t since 2010.
I don’t even watch modern films on TV.
Theaters used to have ushers to walk the isles and toss troublemakers.
Haven’t seen an usher in decades.
These businesses will need to go to a membership model like Sam’s Club or Costco. You can’t be open to the general public without such risks as having a man urinate on other patrons or their children.
If only there was somewhere where blacks could go so they could be who they were born to be. Maybe like a country, or even a continent or something.
The last movie I paid for myself was in early 2018. It was actually one of those premium venues where you actually select your seat which was a reclining leather chair and food and drink is brought to you in your seat prior to the movie starting etc. etc. The ticket cost $25 back then which would have been about double or more what a regular theatre ticket cost. It was a bit unusual for me but overall it was very nice. Except the movie itself was Star Wars Episode 8 The Last Jedi. The movie was so bad it killed the franchise for me along with the rest of big entertainment. Regardless of how nice the packaging is if the content is crap it won’t matter.
I haven’t been in years, aside from rude pricks, young and old who seem to think they are alone in their living rooms…or cages, there is the out of this wold prices and worst of all for me the insane volume they play he movies at. I am hearing impaired, 10% right and 60% left and even at that the sound level is painful. No there is nothing I can’t wait to see in the comfort of my home.

I miss movie theaters. I miss kids in the row behind me kicking the back of my seat, I miss my shoes sticking to the floor, I miss people yapping on their phones, and most of all, I miss movies that are worth watching.
I wonder which “ news” org this urinalist works for.
