Charlie Kirk on the passing of the Doctor of Democracy.
Charlie Kirk had just started his radio show when the news of Rush Limbaugh's passing was announced.
The link is the incredible hour of Charlie remembering Rush.
As I listened, there are many, many quotes that apply today. It is eerie.
From this podcast:
"Rush was relentlessly optimistic about the future of America."
"You can tell by the way the left reacts to Rush's passing just how big of a threat he was to them."
"The more they called and tried to cancel him, the more he grew"
"As long as Rush was on the radio their totalitarian takeover was in jeopardy."
"You can tell by the levels of nastiness and meanness just how effective Rush was."
Just as with Rush Limbaugh, we will be finding, running across snippets and large chunks of Charlie Kirk for decades. In Charlie’s short life he not only filled up every moment of his own life; while he was on this Earth, he filled up the lives of so many others. And now, he is reaching millions and millions. To paraphrase that great quote from the movie Gladiator: Charlie Kirk will echo throughout eternity.
There is A LOT more in this podcast. Enjoy, cry, and then get to work.
For later.
Another irony: Charlie’s radio program runs in the 12 non Eastern slot that Rush made so desirable.
Now I have to miss two great guys.
Charlie said, he “rarely missed Rush’s opening monologue”.
They are two from the same source: Goodness.
I well remember the same jerks cheering over Rush’s death.
I was actually surprised how upset I felt over Charlie Kirk. I knew it sounded bad, but I was driving when Hannity said that John Solomon just confirmed Kirk had passed, and it really hit me. I was absolutely reminded of Rush’s passing, which had been absolutely like family.
