The taxpayers are not required to fund them however.
Keep cutting and slashing the budget until the university fires them.
An update says a “review is underway” and one employee was suspended per the university.
Pull funding = they cave quickly.

I was university faculty. No they cannot. You especially cannot threaten lives by implication.
Intelligence officials stated that the university system met all of the criteria for designation, including extremist indoctrination, promoting violence, and murdering dissidents.

Yeah, well government funding should NEVER have been given to colleges and universities in the first place. It’s not a power of the federal government enumerated in the Constitution.
The university protects them not the first amendment. The first amendment restricts public governmental entities from restricting speech, not private entities such as Clemson. They can fire them but do not want to because their speech is aligned with Clemson management’s sentiments.
However, some privileged racial groups can circumvent that with their ropey matted crawling cooties hair.
Purge the trustees , fire the president, and abolish tenure. Bring in a new leadership team and clean house, but start with the governance structure.

Despite the name, Clemson is a state university.
