I have questions and concerns about these firings. Please understand I think that being stupid should carry some cost, however stupid speech is still Free Speech last I heard.

Unless someone was inciting violence, or posting their crap on the company time/company computer systems, what they say might be objectionable but how can we say we are for 1A if they are fired just for voicing an (unpopular) opinion.

As I understand it, the First is to protect speech we don't like as much as it is to protect speech we do like, so some people or group cannot come along and say, you can't say that...

If I were fired for posting something, on my own time, on my own computer and as long as it wasn't inciting violence I feel I'd have legal recourse. Remember I don't agree with what some of these folks have said but I HAVE TO support their right to say it especially if I don't like it, don't I?
