CHARLIE KIRK

This is difficult to even write: we lost an extraordinary human-being and patriot today, who was murdered by an assassin's bullet.  But Charlie's legacy will never, ever be silence.  He touched and influenced not a few or a few thousand, but hundreds of thousands.

I knew Charlie well over many years.  We were together during Salem radio KRLA events in LA, I had him on TV and radio, I attended a few of his TPUSA events, he was a fan of my books, etc.  He was a delight.  Always curious.  Happy.  Joyous. Social. Articulate.  Brilliant. Strategic.  And much more. 

Charlie and I would text from time to time about all things.  When we had a disagreement, which was very rare, he always circled back and wanted to make sure we were all good.  Of course, we always were. 

Charlie was always civil and kind. He even thanked me for doing things for him that, in my mind, were no big deal and most of which I did not recall, but to Charlie it deserved a mention.

I must confess.  I am not only deeply sad but angry as hell.

A political assassin, a coward, murdered my friend, our friend, a national treasure. 

He also attacked our republic, our civil liberties, our humanity, and I am furious. President Trump was nearly murdered by an assassin.  Not once but twice.  Damn it!  I am pissed off!

I know we all feel truly sick about this.  My wife, Julie, who interacted with Charlie even more than I, and I are devastated like all of you. 

This is a dark and grave day.  I cannot imagine the grief his wife and children and all his family, and his TPUSA family, are experiencing.  God bless them, help them, and protect them. 

And to all who admire Charlie, especially the young people in our high schools, colleges, and beyond, continue to follow in his footsteps. 

That's the greatest honor you can show him, and we need your help to save our country. 

Learn from the life he lived, as short as it was.  It was extraordinary.

Charlie was a really great guy and very intelligent and effective.

My main impression was watching him on election night. He and his team were SO much better than all the networks combined.

While the MSM sat around unwilling and unable to call states, Kirk knew exactly what votes were left in what precincts, and was able to say confidently Harris didn’t have the votes to win the swing states.

All my Gen Z kids are absolutely devastated.

"I loved him," my daughter wrote on our family group chat. He strengthened their sense of conservatism and confidence in debating liberals.

His life is a gap that cannot be filled. But we must endeavor to fill it just the same, for our children and grandchildren, and those Americans yet to come.

Recent major national polling suggests that 47% of Democrats see no problem with murdering people they don’t agree with, and the majority appear to lionize any who do. Charlie Kirk has been villainized as an enemy of Democrat-cy, so they are celebrating his murder.

Despite the crocodile tears being expressed on Big News Media, they are all secretly rejoicing that one of their midst has succeeded in killing this giant of a man. The Democrat Party is the Party of Death, of Violence, of Criminals, of hatred for America, and hatred of God and his precious little ones. They disgust me.

BBC says this shooting shows how deeply divided Americans are these days. That is right. We are divided between those who think we should die because they don’t agree with us, and those who are trying to avoid getting murdered for our beliefs.

May God save this Republic.

My son called me to let me know he was shot. All of my children knew who he was and were fans of his.

Then my sister texted the same info.

I immediately jumped onto FR and CFP for updates.

He was a force of nature in conservative circles.

I told my husband that far from stifling speech, MORE Charlie Kirks were created today. Instead of cowering, they are going to get louder. Instead of backing down, they are going to fight harder.
