I am a ‘traditional feminist” if there is such a thing. I just want fairness, and some respect from society. Perhaps I would have gone the radical way of many women, but my Mom was just so smart politically. She never was for the DFL - yes, I am in Minnesota. I learned early to despise excessive, large government from her - although she had seven children, she never felt sorry for herself as a female. She loved my dad and he loved her. That is another reason why I did not go off on a leftist tangent. Having many very decent men around me growing up helped a lot.
