As to Tommy Robinson, have you forgotten his allegations against Syrian Refugee Jamal Hijazi (2018)?

Robinson posted videos on Facebook and YouTube (cross-promoted via Twitter) falsely accusing 15-year-old Syrian refugee Jamal Hijazi of assaulting girls at school, including a fake photograph purporting to show violence by a “Muslim gang.” This followed a viral video of Hijazi being bullied.

Robinson deleted the videos. In a follow-up Facebook video, he admitted to posting a fake photograph, acknowledging the false claim.

In fact, just this month, August 2025, Robinson shared a video on X of a black man and his brother playing with his white granddaughters in a North Yorkshire park, falsely implying pedophilia and labeling them as threats.

He deleted the tweet after backlash, which led to the family receiving death threats and racial abuse. No explicit apology was issued; reports note only the deletion, with the family describing it as “poisonous lies.”

So yeah, he’s tweeted lies before.
