I guess it's possible to have tons of cameras with no video footage. Keep in mind that this was 30 years ago, and a lot of video recordings were writing to tape. This was long before it was normal to immediately transmit electronically the security video to offsite storage. So if the VHS recorder banks were destroyed in the explosion, there may be no video.

Or it could be a cover-up as the article says.

I’ve assumed it was a cover up not long after I started following the story. But I choose my battles.

I always found it fascinating how fast they found Timmy and how fast they offed him.

I know at the time people would put up fake security cameras but I have trouble seeing the government doing this.

I do see them not bothering to secure the tape, losing the tape, have the camera being broken for three months while they futzed around trying to find a maintenance guy so it was not working and things like that.

Or as you say, might have been a coverup. I can see that too.
