We have some beautiful farmland in North Central Florida that used to be owned by Bill Gates. If he still owns it, use the public domain laws and give these refugee farmers this land. We would love to have the Afrikaners and their families settled there!
Would love some good folks out here in the Northern California Gold Country. Plenty of growing lands in the flatlands, but also lots of properties with acreage for smaller farms. Plenty of Sun, mild winters—below the snow and above the fog—what’s not to love....oh and its America, not like the significant portions of California—
Bring ALL of them here!

Dutch Reformed Church is common among White South African Boers, so places in the USA that had a lot of Dutch immigration (Michigan, MidWest, NY, NJ, and SE Pnnsylvania around where the Amish are settled) might be socially compatible.
If the refugees are in fact farmers, getting them into farming in the USA would be a great idea, because as a group, they have proven to be World-Class productive farmers, who have excelled everywhere they have gone in their diaspora.

They’re welcome in Las Vegas. There seems to be a significant cluster of them already here, and I have enjoyed meeting them. I can’t imagine being pushed out of your country by a genocidal threat, but they sure are facing it. When the wheels fall off over there, we need to be ready to help.

Big demand for younger farmers in Iowa. And quite a few farmers and small towns with Dutch roots. Problem is the buy-in is $3 million minimum and cropland $8000-16000 per cropland acre. But deals can be made with older farmers.
I have been told that the US needs migrants to pick crops. These can grow them and then pick them.

We have a new SA family who just joined our church. They are super excited about volunteering/getting involved in church. I haven’t broached the topic of politics, but don’t really think it’s needed. Everything about them says conservative, imo.
