Statute of limitations eliminates charges for the most part, but I would imagine Trump’s legal team could crank up a $100-Billion damages on his reputation civil case, and list over 200 participants.

He could pass the money onto Baron and give the kid in 15 years the chance to run.

Not if it was part of an ongoing conspiracy which starts the clock at the final act of the conspiracy and not the first one.

“Statute of limitations eliminates charges for the most part “

The last time Brennan or anyone else involved in the conspiracy said one word about it, that continued the crime. So there’s no SOL from LAST WEEK.

I am told that the statute of limitations does not apply to a conspiracy, because every act of covering up the conspiracy constitutes a new violation, thereby continuously extending the statute of limitations.

If something is an “ongoing conspiracy”, then the statute of limitations does not apply in that way.

As the “ongoing” aspect means that the “conspiracy” (which would be the crime), continues to this day.

This the door thus remains open for charges to be filed in this ongoing conspiracy.
