As China is now overtaking AI development, it is stated these fifty to hundred mini drones can be programmed to hunt down individuals,

Just wait until the nest demoncrap administration deploys these against us deplorables.

Tell that to the ruskies. Drones are wiping their modern army off the face of the earth.

My mistake it was Kyrgyzstan–Tajikistan in 2021/2022 that was the drone thing.

The 2020 issue between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was about a dam that busted and resulted in downstream damages and tension.

For example, you don't see Russian fighter aircraft often over Ukrainian held ground, nor Ukrainian fighter aircraft over Russian held ground.

They cannot establish air superiority.

We have b-2 bombers so we can establish air superiority.

...can be programmed to hunt down individuals...

Like Chairman Xi?

How does a top-down hierarchical dictatorship keep control when the few who get all the benefits are hunted down like dogs?

Haven’t been to China lately have you? No longer can be called Communist. That title disappeared when they instated property ownership rights. The “ State” owning everything is the past.

That said, their government has changed dramatically, embracing capitalism at the consumer level….they still have a ways to go with their authoritarianism.

I look at my two of my neighbors, their relatives come over and have bought three rental properties with cash, no mortgage. Another relative is also a Chinese national, she sent her son to Harvard, he became a Hong Kong banker.

Pre- conceived notions about the little yellow man is very, very dangerous.

You think like a westerner. You assume you know the enemy by your preconceived beliefs. Well, let me remind you, much like Russia, their populace is not soft, they don’t fight the western Shock and Awe and shoot their wad way….be reminded a bunch of goat herders kicked us out of Iraq and Afghanistan….same, same with Vietnam, and North Korea is still around.

Attrition will win, like history has shown us about China and Russia over, and over and over again. American’s have absolutely no stomach for a war of attrition….fat, dumb and happy as the saying goes.

The only way to win a war, and this is going to be a very unpopular statement, is to kill your enemy.

….and then take all their woman…it has worked for hundreds of years. Unconditional Surrender, which we have not accomplished since WW2….our days are waning.

You didn't read what I said.

I didn't call it Communist.

I called it a “top-down hierarchical dictatorship”.

And it is. As is Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, Nicaragua, and China. Europe is getting that way due to woke elites and rich globalists. They ALL have that in common and support each other.

Like a girthy, muscular snake, they all have one thing in common. Cut of the head, and the snake is d.e.a.d.

It isn't pre-conceived notions of the little yellow man. Nice try with the woke race baiting. I have no such racist illusions. I believe Asian and Azkanazi Jews as the smartest poeple of humanity. But then again, so are all kinds of people, including Africans, Australiods, Hispanic Natives, etc. The difference isn't makeup, but ideology.

Pretty sure these stories are hokum. I mean we were using drones to assassinate terrorists over a decade ago. We’ve been using them for battle field surveillance for longer. Now there’s all these stories “oh we’re behind the drone curve”. Of course I notice most of the articles specifically mention the Army. Like they’re deliberately not paying attention to the Air Force and CIA that we know have been using drones for a long time.

If the Ukes were facing US forces, their little drone army would get wiped out. The Air Force would have complete dominance, and ISR would be wandering up and down the front.
Air Force Compass Calls and Navy Growlers would melt and drone that someone tried to fly. Army helos would be killing any teams within 20 miles of the front line.

Both sides are unskilled, and have reverted to WWI tactics.

“Well, let me remind you, much like Russia, their populace is not soft, “

Russia has a hurried and slovenly working culture, in which cutting corners is a norm. Standards and regulations are often skirted and unenforced.

Inspectors are perceived as leeches who need to be bribed off so they stop returning to look for non-existent issues.

Critical thinking and causality are not taught at schools nor universities. Consequently, “don’t you worry” bravado approach takes over critical reasoning and data collection.

Eventually, this type of working culture coupled with magical thinking result in big disasters, from Chernobyl to diesel spill into waterways in Norilsk.

In China, the government owns the land.

Oh, we can establish air superiority, but it’s not the B2’s that do that.

“”””With drones, tanks are obsolete.””””

Can you think of one of the world’s militaries that agrees with that?

Russia and North Korea are neck deep in this drone war, and they are accelerating their tank programs and future production.

I came to the conclusion decades ago that saying we are behind, unprepared, we have to catch up, weapons gap etc. is something we say to win support and budgets, and that actually we are always doing pretty well.

It is our nature to say those things, it is how we prod ourselves in America.

I don’t know about today, but in the past, American military gear was protected from emp, it made our field radios heavier for example.
