I watched a YouTube video last night that stated that British Columbia is looking at breaking away from the Canadian Confederation. That is would actually be better financially form them to do so. That the Premier of the province knows this and IF they call a refferendom that the majority of BC residents would vote for it either to become part of the US or an entirely separate country.

This is also the case of course for Alberta. Alberta and BC both supply a much higher percentage of GDP than the rest of the provinces. Basically, they subsidize the eastern provinces,(especially Quebec).

Then the prairie provinces Manitoba and Saskatuwan(sp?) would definitely want to join the USA.

This kind of surprised me about BC. Not about the other three. We might be witnessing the break up of Canada in the next year or two.

British Columbia is dominated politically by Vancouver, which has a huge Chinese population and is heavily penetrated by Red Chinese financial and political interests. Not a good deal for the United States.
