The climate is going to change here in central KS. Supposed to get hot for three days. Then the climate is going to change again with rain forecast and cool down in the low 80’s.

There is no “right” setting for climate, and even if a good compromise could be worked out, there is no reliable way to set the thermostat at just that precise point.

The great survival capability of humanity is the wide range of adaptability that has been forced upon humanity since the dawn of consciousness. People, being the primates they are, have from the beginning forged into clans and tribes, and have always been building a store of wisdom as to how to cope with sometimes very rapidly changing conditions and situations.

Over 18 million people live in the Netherlands in an land area roughly two thirds the size of West Virginia and they are NET FOOD EXPORTERS partly because, like the Israelis and Japanese, they do high rise greenhouse growing.

White man (and Jooze and those wily Nipponjin) may not be able to jump, but they sure do know how to grow things.

Are all price increases (and there are plenty) preceded by announcements of climate change being the cause? It sure seems we are seeing more than the usual amounts of these predictions nowadays. In this age of technology, there should be some way to put a stop to much of this nowadays, like maybe halting business with companies who seem to do this too consistently or severely. Lack of business should be an impediment for such companies.

Any increase in population will require more C02 to increase food supply.
. . . but countries worldwide are experiencing sub-replacement level birth rates.

It’s still growing and expects to continue for 50 years.
