Agreed....after Leno the lack of quality in late night was more than obvious.
People are sick of hearing political attacks from shows thar are supposed to be funny and entertaining and aren’t.
Numbers-wise, you are correct....all of the cable late-night shows have lost vast numbers over the past decade.
Scarborough’s agent is probably talking to CBS...but I doubt that they’d even offer than $3-M a year (one-fifth of what Colbert made).
I’d like to see someone like Dick Cavett...strictly doing interviews (no more comedians).
Yup...it was advertising for guests...but now...we have the web. I miss the old days when Carson had on some very talented people.....Even better than Ed Sullivan.
