There must be some way to extract their STEM programs from the public universities and create separate institutions to administer them without any Liberal Arts professors smelling up the hallways.

There were some other professors there who exposed what a sham the “peer reviewed” publishing process was at Oregon. They wrote ludicrous studies about patriarchal dog rape culture at dog parks and colonization of duck ponds by drakes or some such and the other professors gushed over them. They used all the leftist buzzwords to prove they will peer review anything as long as the correct buzzwords are used. The university fired them when they exposed it was all a hoax, on Oregon Public Radio of all places.
Of course, the University of Oregon learned nothing either.
Their Leftists apparatchiks have not paid a cent.
