The classic rock group known as the Steve Miller Band has announced that they are canceling all remaining dates on their current tour because of the weather, or more specifically, the ‘extreme’ weather conditions brought about by climate change.
Rock and roll just isn’t what it used to be, apparently.
The group made the announcement on Twitter/X.

They SAID they are cancelling because of all the crazy weather, not “climate change”. The weather has been Biblical for whatever reason. People have been and are in peril and the weather patterns don’t look rosy ahead.
These are 80+ year old guys, guys. Maybe they just can’t handle it right now. They owe nobody anything.
I’m giving a pass on this one.

Climate change has been debunked for most creatures with opposing thumbs. I’d have more respect for Steve if he canceled due to menstrual cramps.

Well he is 81 and has $40M so he can do whatever he wants.
However it would have been more respectful if he just told the truth.
Heck he could do mini tours in the Spring and Fall if he wanted to still play out or get a residency in Vegas or somewhere. Or just stay home and enjoy life.

That’s what The B-52’S have been doing. They’ve been making a killing.
I saw him at SPAC, I think it was either last year or the year before. Got my usual $120 tickets for seats in the back section - he was a good show. Show Sting the same year I believe, he was great.
Just saw Rod Stewart (80 yrs old) there on Tuesday night - worth the 120 for probably the last time I’ll see him. He’s slowing down, but at 80, I just wish I have that energy at 80.
