$70.80 to $2510 @ Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Cheap! One Taylor Swift ticket in New Orleans was listed as $78,000 before fees. One of four. It sold.
Iconic ‘70s Rock Band Cancels Entire Tour, Fans Are Livid at the Reason
“The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So…

Saw them in Huntsville, Alabama last year. They still rock!
Steve Miller should stay in his basement where he’ll be safe.
Run, Steve, Run!!!!
Is he worried that fans might throw cheeseburgers at him?
He's certainly had a lot of great musicians working with him - but his "pop" stuff is cringe-inducing.
THE_CLIMATE_CHANGE_ATE_MY_HOMEWORK_PING!
Riiiiggghhhtt.....
How much CO2 did they put in the atmosphere with their private jets and tour busses over the years. How many dinosaurs did they burn???
NOW they are concerned????? Of course, the concerts aren’t being cancelled because they are OLD and tired, right???
Wow. Steve Miller is 81. I wasn’t aware he was still alive.
Saw millers kickoff concert tour with Joe cocker some years back. Joe completely dominated and Miller sucked so very bad. We left in the middle of it and hit the bathroom on the way out. Everyone in the rest room was complaining about Steve miller.
So, no great loss. I’m quite confident ticket sales were lagging and “climate change” is the excuse to cancel.
Thank you “climate change!”
They played here in Gilford, NH last summer.
I considered going until I checked the ticket prices.
Sorry, I am not paying $400 to see an 80 year old man sing songs he wrote FIFTY years ago.
The same goes for Neil Young, Eric Clapton, the Who, the Stones and all these other old geezers.
They ain’t what they used to be.
Then I was thinking about going to Chris Stapleton.
However, his show at Gillette/Foxborough got cancelled.
I checked out the prices at a venue in Hollywood, FL.
Tickets started at $650.
Sorry, you just are not worth it to spend $3K or more for a weekend trip with airfare and hotel.
I remember spending $20 a ticket to see people when they were in their prime. Now I’m old. They’re old. Tickets are expensive. I don’t go to too many concerts now.
Never liked them anyway so this just ads to the reasons.
Never heard of this band
Steve Miller….. the guy who wrote the song Jet Airliner….
I saw them a few years ago. At one point they were playing their blues stuff. A person in the crowd yelled, “Play the good shit, Stevie.”
Then they played their “hits.”
I am still waiting for the “good” stuff.
So they are not going to fly like eagles, into the future then?
My favorite Steve Miller song is the relatively unknown “Saving Grace” from late 60s or early 70s. The beginning of his layered change ups, not sure what you call it musically.
