The fastest and most effective way of dealing with the problem is with PCP air rifles. I'm sure there is a club out there that would be more than willing to come in and lend a hand.

They could learn a lesson from Jessica, of Iguana Solutions on Youtube..........

My favorite PCP rifle is posted on my home page.

If they live under ground like gophers, they need to do what my buddies and I used to do. Get a couple buckets of water and pour it down their holes and they will come out gasping for air. Then you can catch them and do whatever you want with them.

These are not tree rats. These are ground squirrels. Potguts. Small prairie dogs. Burrowers.

They are controllable, if the government is not in charge of the situation.

Weapons of choice are suppressed small caliber rifles with scopes, .17 or 22 Mag. Shoot the first two or three and wait for their buddies to come out to snack on their dead bodies. By days end it looks like the day after Gettysburg.

Organize 100 to 200 air-rifle armed air men. 200 to be beaters and sweep the base in a controlled way to force the furred invaders to a single location and began the culling...

If the airmen are squeamish call in the Marines and or the US Army.

My yard is covered with oak trees. I used to have squirrels dancing on the roof, so bad that they ate the boots off the vent pipes and let water get under the shingles. Then a little stray kitty showed up (which we have now adopted) and cleaned house. There are still squirrels in the trees, but none on the house and they are real cautious-like when they touch ground

Bring about 5,000 cats to that facility and the squirrels will be gone in no time. Poor rodents, but there’s no other way...

Let some foxes in there, they will take care of the problem.
